A picture is worth thousand words. Look at this Osprey nest; incorporated are pieces of plastic rope, plastic bags, and miscellaneous pieces of other, ugly plastic. The nest should be made only of sticks and twigs. If we are all more aware of how ubiquitous plastic trash is and how long it stays in the environment, maybe more of us would reduce, reuse, and recycle.
