I REALLY went overboard with this particular Iris, straying far from my usual way of doing things! Actually, I began by searching for a different sort of background, and chose a watercolor stained towel. One thing lead to another and the details from the photo of my neighbors Iris soon blended into the work…. Yes, it IS different from what I usually do!
