This simple, elegant modern photo wedding save the date postcard template features your names and details beneath your photo. The default text color on both sides is an elegant medium dark shade of blue. You might choose to change the font, punctuation or color used for various text elements of this design on the front and/or back. For example, you might choose to change the color of some or all of the text, or change the SAVE THE DATE text below the photo to SAVE OUR DATE or something different. You might choose to delete something or change a text field entirely with a different message. On the back, you might decide to delete the lines for the addressee’s information if you prefer a more minimalist look, etc. Or you might change the color of those lines to something other than the light gray we chose. On the back we chose an atypical order for the information, putting the “PLEASE SAVE THE DATE’ text after the “FOR THE WEDDING OF” text, which lends a path less traveled charm to it. You can alter this by changing the text in each of these text fields and entering by hand the part you want to place in the order you want to show it. The background on both sides is set as transparent to let the color of the paper simply serve as the base tone, but you can edit this and choose a color if you prefer. The default text colors on back are a slightly softened black and a dark gray, and you can change this to suit your style. Instead of entering your own wedding website address, you might use that space for a different message. Of course you can also simply delete all of our sample text on the back and leave the message part of that side of the card totally blank and then hand write your own message later after you receive the cards. The default paper type, matte, has a soft warmth to it and resists smudging, so it’s a great choice for writing your own message, if you choose to do that. You can edit this and choose semi-gloss instead. In any case, please do remember to delete all of our sample text on both sides as well as our sample photo.
